It is a symbol for a game and could be used in a gallery. No real coins of 1650 with a pirate ship on it. I remember when Yahoo had an auction of men, was there with a starting price of $ 1. It could also be a Mardi Gras doubloon. I have something similar in the 1960s but are now together in different styles. I hope that answers your question.

Well, that sounds like a game token. Pirates did not mint its own currency - just pinch other people. And the legitimate currency of the period were to the head of the ruler, not a pirate. Were duplicates of Spain, and it would never have said "a duplicate", as in English.
